The Annual General Meeting for Whitewater-Bromley Community Health Centre Advisory Board of Directors(WBCHC) was held in the Foresters Falls Orange Hall on the evening of May 19.
After John Jordan gave his Executive Directors Report and Susan Allen her Health Services Co-ordinators Report, guest speaker Dr. Jane Fulton gave a humourous yet enlightening presentation “How do we know the best things in life are free”.
Reports for the past year were given by the Directors who had chaired various committees. Izett McBride’s report included a presentation which covered the history of the WBCHC since it’s inception.
After the Election of Officers, the following will make up the Advisory Board of Directors for 2009-2010. From the former Ross Township - Pat Krose and Rob McKenzie, from Cobden – Randi Keith, from Beachburg – Linda Simpson, from Admaston-Bromley – Diane Coulas and Izett McBride from the former Westmeath.
With many fresh ideas in their minds, this very capable group of individuals should take the WBCHC to new stages in the continual growth of the Whitewater-Bromley Community Health Centre.
